We have made it to Starkville the past few weekends. My parents joined us for the homecoming game and we were so glad they did. We had a great time together. We saw alot of family and friends we hadn't seen in a while so that is always good. We did manage to do a little tailgating this past weekend. There is a group of Sigma Chi's that Larkin went to school with that set up a tent for a few games and of course TN was one they had planned on. It was fun seeing everybody. It had been a while. We also did a little celebrating for Kendy's birthday that night at Anthony's. Of course it was yum yum yum. Also, I must add that Eliza Kate was too cute in her little cheerleading outfit Saturday...big bow and all :)
We appreciate the Overstreets accommodating us both weekends. We had a blast and always love our time with them. Camp was hilarious this past weekend....Saturday he wore his State hat...Croom style...and Sunday he found Katey's sunglasses and Kane's watch and then a cell phone..he managed to have all of this in use at one time...
(Camp had just finished a chocolate chip granola bar when he crunked his hat on his head:)
Besides a little football action on the weekends we have started working on a few more home type things. Not anything big too big though. There was a really 80's fan in our guest bedroom that is in the process of being replaced. It's down and the new one is half-way up...I think just that minor change will make a major difference in that room. Also, we are about to start making a fabric headboard for the bed in that room as well. Has anybody done this before? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! I have printed off "how to" instructions and it doesn't look like it would be too hard...I guess we will find out! Hopefully we will have this done in a few weeks...
Happy Tuesday! :)

i did the covered headboard thing....so easy and i think it looks good....we cut plywood to fit, then i got quilt batting (and i did an egg crate, egg side to the board, because i thought it needed more padding....then staple gunned it...so easy....
We had a great time too! I love these pictures!
