Yard

Here are a few pictures of what we did in the yard over the weekend. We have two big trees on either side of our driveway that have beds around them so we tried to clean those up. They had a metal border that had been there for a while and run over several hundred times so it wasn't looking too hot at all (plus I am really not a fan of a metal border :). It definitely took some work to finally get them out of the ground but they're out and it all looks so much better. It's a wonder what a little trimming and mulch can do! Also, we have a holly hedge that had gotten really high...it probably hadn't been pruned in years so we figured we go ahead and prune it pretty good. You can actually tell now that those really are full length windows :) It's definitely looking better but we still have a little ways to go in the front. Getting those lovely railroad ties out is next on our list...anybody up for a project?!!? :)
Thanks again for helping us, Lanny & Bill. We would still be out there if we hadn't had you!

You are definitely a Kennedy when you are pulling stuff out of your front yard with your truck.....

We just pulled up all of our bushes with, you guessed it, Breisch's Truck. Yes, we are from the Delta!

The yard is looking good! I am going to try to finish mine this weekend! Yeah!
