one of the best days of our lives for sure! We had no idea when we woke up that morning that we would have our precious girls that night but we did and here we are! Sally Katelyn (Sally Kate) weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz and Simmons Love (Simmons) weighed 4 lbs 3 oz. We are all doing good. Sally Kate has been with us from day 1 but Simmons has needed a little extra attention in the NICU. She's doing great but just needing a little more time to be able to establish a good eating pattern and have the energy to take down all of her bottle at each feeding. It's just part of being early and something that she has to grow into being able to do. We are not sure when she will be ready to go home but hopefully it will be soon. It could be in a few days or it could be next week. It's hard for anybody to know exactly but we're praying it will be sooner rather than later.
I was discharged over the weekend but we have been able to stay in our hospital room so for that we are very thankful. It's made things very convenient, especially as we take care of Sally Kate and can take her to the nursery when we go see Simmons. We're getting use to having one baby with us and we can't wait to be able to add Simmons to the mix.
What joy has filled our hearts the past 10 days!! Will keep you posted when we're headed back to the big city...

Congratulations! I will keep both your sweet girls in my prayer and you too Mama!! Although with three women in his life now I should probably pray for Larkin the most! Hope yall are all home together soon and I'm so happy for yall!

Yeah Jenny Ruth!!! I think about you ALL the time and I'm so thankful that your girls are hear safe and sound! Can't wait for the Larkin twins to meet the Ainsworth twins :)
